Prep for what couple inches?
Quick, get your Eggs, milk, bread. Emergency French toast time.
My iphone keeps alerting me about a storm warning.
Oh my god... I am so fucking sick of the hype about this impending storm. People are acting like it's Armageddon. Guys in the gun store bragging about buying canned goods, "warnings" all day on my phone, nothing else on the news... it's COLORADO, people. It snows here sometimes. I'm fairly certain we'll live through it.
What about the children ?
Oh-No, how will I do my job if it is snowing? At-least I have a 4x4 work truck now and not that '99 f-250 rwd truck I use to have.
Glad I'm in Atlanta watching basketball
Hey guys, remember that one time here in CO when it snowed? OMG... it was so crazy.
On another note: I think I'll pre-emptively Donner Party the neighbors so I'm not as peckish when the flakes start falling...
At least one person came in and took tomorrow off of work so they wouldn't have to drive in it. I am very ready for spring, but I kind of hope we get 5 more of these.
I was being sarcastic. Every "storm", however small, is declared a "Winter Storm" with "warnings". Well, it's the friggin winter and we do get storms sometimes. Ya know, the Rocky Mountains and all.
Irving is right. We need more of these before fire season.
Kidsicles....[ROFL1]
Our management told us that we are not working tomorrow! To bad I don't get paid or have sick/vacation days we will probably have to work Friday to make it up.
Bring it!
[Snow]
Jeffco schools closed already
Here in the springs, Black Forest area no snow but a kind of wind like huracan, I feel like in PR in huracan season :-)
Started pretty recently in the DTC
Woot! I dont have to go all the way to the fridge for beer tonight, can just leave it on the porch. Almost reaching distance from the couch
Mmmm french toast
Cherry creek schools are closed kids will like that
I kind of enjoy the "OMG SNOW!!" mentality here. My job often tells people to stay home on occasions like this. Growing up in northern Wyoming I'm pretty used to driving in much worse.
Brighton schools closed. Wife is happy. She doesn't have to drive in it so I'm happy. Hopefully we get a bunch more moisture....we need it.
Hooray! One more good snow (fingers crossed) means one more chance at making a day's worth of bona fide "snow day" meals. :)
I can't believe that there are so many folks that don't have at least 2 weeks of food for the family
Maybe I will go shooting tomorrow and avoid all the retards who forget how to drive in the snow. Might see a pesky rabbit and end up with some stew at the end of the day.
