I'll do landowner tags in nebraska again, once you have a corn fed deer you won't ever touch let alone eat the skunky rats from the mountains

Been thinking of going out-of-state anyway, so now I've got a good reason and just need to decide where to go.

By following this asinine logic, shouldn't we all be boycotting buying guns? Especially since THAT fee goes straight to the CBI?

BTW, I will be hunting this year. It's part of how my family gets fed.

I'll still hunt and fish. The fees do more good than harm.

Bringing in buying guns or buying mags from magpul is comparing apples to oranges in relation to boycotting hunting. Boycotting hunting by locals cuts into the wildlife department's cashflow. They are an agency of the state, the same state that wishes to supress our god given rights. Out of state residents hurt even worse, as there is the higher out of state fees, plus the revenue for lodging, meals, etc. You can agree with me, or disagree with me, that is your right, but good lord people we are our own worst enemy, and the grabbers know this. They seek to turn ourselves onto each other, and looking at some of the posts on this site lately, that is happening. They are coming to take our guns. We know this. Most of us predicted this. We either fight them every place we can, and make them feel it in every way we can, or we lay down, and hand them our guns. Its shocking that people are that benign about it. Even more sad, who's been calling others fudds, when they themselves are really fudds.

Yep and "dear governor" needs to know it: http://www.colorado.gov/govhdir/requ...inion-leg.html

Regardless, our DOW (or whatever they've reorganized into) has become an overbearing PITA and could use a bit of attitude adjustment...

Try some TX hogs, especially if you have friends that need help... Mucho fun!

    WHAT?

Let me see if I got this: boycott hunting, to hurt the DOW, which hurts the state. This is somehow different than boycotting gun purchases, which hurts the CBI, which hurts the state. And different than boycotting buying mags, which hurts Magpul, which hurts the state.

THE STATE DOES NOT WANT YOU TO HUNT, target shoot, or sit in your basement stroking your guns. The state will make it more and more difficult to participate in these activities so that fewer and fewer people will care when they are finally prohibited. Voluntarily giving up a firearm activity (hunting) is just rolling over and handing them exactly what they want. What happens when the stats come out next year stating that there are XX% fewer hunters in Colorado now than in years past - therefore the state can justify making hunting even more difficult because their numbers back it up. Frankly, boycotting hunting sounds like a Lib plot.

Also, as stated before, many gun toting patriots make their living in Colorado off of the hunting industry - small town lodging, restaurants, outfitters, suppliers, cooks, guides, etc. You are hurting them more than the state. And, the DOW IS ON OUR SIDE.

Stupidest liberal gun-grabbing idea I have ever heard.
