    If its corroded you might be better off buying a tumbler. If you do any kind of polishing of anything that is the way I do it. And I keep plenty lazy doing it. I had some rust colored Mauser bullets that I thru in mine and 6 hours later they were bright and shiny. I also use it for brass that I am going to reload because it makes sizing them easier. Just my .02 worth though.

    Ketchup works fairly well in shining up cartridges, if you don't mind dealing with the mess and the hassle.

    Well, I did used pepsi to clean up some rounds (200-300) everything was OK. Did not affect anything.
