Whoa, you let people SEE you loading and unloading your shit? I always make sure there isn't anybody around or looking as best I can, before I do it. I don't want my neighbors seeing what I have. I even have a blanket hanging over my ammo cans on the shelves in the garage. T'ain't nobuddy's bidness. I wish my garage was big enough to just drive my truck into so I could load/unload in private.

When I was in my 20's i was living in a rough neighborhood. So, when i moved in I had a bunch of my biker buddies help me, and quite obviously moved in the armory in front of the neighbors, trip after trip after trip. I had a hurricane fence up to the front of the house and 2 big, trained German Shepherds. You could not get into the house without going through them, and they had their own door into the house. Most weekends had a few Harleys parked out front, and loud tattooed guys BBQing in the yard. I never locked my doors and no one ever bothered me, except one time. All the Mexican bangers knew to leave the crazy gringo alone.

“Every good citizen makes his country's honor his own, and cherishes it not only as precious but as sacred. He is willing to risk his life in its defense and is conscious that he gains protection while he gives it.” Andrew Jackson

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'

That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

I enjoyed my rep as the crazy gringo. Now it's too tame living in the golf course community.

I have gun cases... I mean, you don't know what's inside them, except that they're rifles/shotguns.
A friend shared this with me today- I thought it was hilarious:
"There is no news in the truth, and no truth in the news."
"The revolution will not be televised... Instead it will be filmed from multiple angles via cell phone cameras, promptly uploaded to YouTube, Tweeted about, and then shared on Facebook, pending a Wi-Fi connection."
