Brooks for high end...avoid Elways ( worst steak I've had in a long time..had to send 2 back to the kitchen and even the third wasn't right). Hickory House in Parker is good and reasonable price (hard to not order ribs, but you can get a combo)

Ted's Montana Grill is good, but kinda spendy. I'm watching this thread for ideas of where to go.

Default best steakhouse *bang for the buck

    Salt Grass is overpriced.

Dukes is a decent place if you're out that way. They switched to Sysco frozen products instead of house made vege's and deserts which really hit the quality, if they've gone back to the fresh cut house made stuff they're a great place to eat.

Outback has improved their food quite a bit as of late. Their quality was going downhill in a big way for a while but the last few times we've been they've definitely kicked it up a notch.

The Texas Roadhouse on 225 and Illif never disappoints. If you walk in expecting Morton's day aged beef you'll be sorely disappointed but if you're okay with a nice cut of beef cooked the way you want it for a good price you can not beat the road house.

Teds is also owned by Ted Turner. The same Ted Turner who created the Communist news network and thinks its a good thing that soldiers are killing themselves.

    Columbine - bang for buck.
Salt grass impressed me the first time I went (they just opened the joint), but I got some mediocre steaks the last two visits. The absolute worst steak I've had was last weekend @ Hopps by Denver West.
Shanahans, Elway's, the Keg, or the Chophouse have served up some amazing steaks. Roadhouse...I'd rather go to chilis for a steak *bleh.

Black Hat Cattle Company in Kittridge. Not only is the food fantastic and reasonably priced but the service is as good as you'll get anywhere.

Buckhorn Exchange. But I really don't like steakhouses very much. 9 times out of 10 I can make a better steak at home. Plus the meal doesn't have 5 days worth of salt in one meal.

Texas Roadhouse is not bad ....for my money a few packs of marbled Rib-Eye from Costco either grilled plain or with Dillo Dust or Montreal Steak seasoning bloody rare....................
