What a joke that show was. Not even an attempt at portraying other views. The brother of the Virginia Tech victim who bought all those guns at the gun show was irrelevant nonsense. They even admitted the shooter bought the gun at a store and went through a background check. If you think making guns illegal will stop murders, just take a look at Britain. Multiple people get stabbed to death every day there. What's next--outlawing knives? Rope? Poison?

This program was insidious in its attempt to say to CCW holders: "Don't even try to defend yourself with a gun. You have no hope of defending yourself, and you are more dangerous with a weapon."

Could maybe the REAL problem be that the media sensationalizes every one of these serial murderers?

I thought it was ironic that on Channel 7 News right after the show there was a story about some crazed maniac who broke into someone's home in Aurora and tried to kill someone with a boxcutter (the 9/11 terrorist weapon of choice). Instead of following Diane Sawyer's advice and cowering under the bed and calling 911 while the maniac killed the other person, this guy pulled out a gun and blew the bad guy away.

Whoa, are you suggesting that we have a right to free commerce? That two private citizens are free to exchange items without government oversight or regulation?

Just remember, once the "Gun Show Loophole" is closed, they will immediately attack the "Internet Loophole". We can't have people buying or exchanging guns privately through transactions established over the internet.
