Default Scandal after scandal after scandal... WTF?

So while on lunch I flipped over to FNC to catch a lead in on Studio B. Shepherd was talking about the 3 latest scandals:
Benghazi- the WH is now denying the President actually saw the talking points Secy. Rice was given for her round of Sunday talk-shows.
IRS- President Obama claims the first he heard was the same as us, last Friday.
DOJ vs AP- President denies any involvement or knowledge of this.

So with all these, I'm led to believe that one of two conditions exist:
    1) Obama, Clinton, Rice, Carney, Biden, etc. are completely full of shit. -Very likely- I believe they call this 'plausible deniability.'
    Or
    2) This is the most inept, ignorant, and powerless administration in U.S. History. -Ya know, because "we do what we want, we don't need to inform our superiors," and on the other hand, "dur duh duh we don't know what's going on."

But the thing about all this that grinds my gears and really confuses me, how is this asshat still president? Granted I wasn't in for long, but I saw two instances (one downrange) where Commanders were relieved of duty for much much less than these three incidents. I guess all I want to know is: Where are the articles of impeachment!?

Ronin, you and I don't see eye-to-eye on most things on this forum (and I still think Bush is worse (at this point)) but I have no reason to defend what this administration is doing. They have been digging a hole and I hope get burried in it. This second term is off to an amazingly bad start that worries me where it will end.

The privacy and transparency worry me the most and you already know where I stand on the 2nd (that much I think we agree on).

Yep... But how can you say Bush is worse than Obama? I don't remember this country being nearly as divided, the term "racist" being thrown around, the 2nd being threatened so much, and the lying.... oh the lying... None of this was going on when Georgey was in office, at least not to the extent it is now. Are we better off than we were 4 years and three months ago? Fuck no.

I've said it before and I'll say it again ...

If Gotti was the teflon don ...... this guy is the teflon President. none of his bullshit sticks.

If the press keeps letting him off after this AP stuff I'll finally have to put on the tin foil and admit there is something to the conspiracy guys...

It's the perfect time for all this stuff to happen - after the 2012 elections, but well before the 2014 mid terms. I think this is a planned dump, way to much for anyone to concentrate on one thing, and it will all go away after time. They kept it all bottled up, and they're perfectly happy to let it all out right now.

It's funny that people say the second term is off to a bad start when most of the infractions were committed during the first term. You had to be an imbecile and/or intentionally blind to believe the administration's story on Benghazi last September. The same goes for Fast & Furious, not prosecuting the New Black Panther Party for voter intimidation, etc. This stuff doesn't stick to him in large part because the Press won't let it stick to him. The mainstream media might as well be official spokespeople because very few of them have done anything other spew the party line and cover for him before the most recent "scandals".

The real scandals aren't that he lied about Benghazi but that the press didn't press him on obvious fabrications and that it took until now for the IRS's actions to come out. I can't believe Carney wasn't subjected to voluminous questions and eye rolls over the idea that senior IRS officials knew what was going on for nearly two years and Obama only found out through the media broadcasts on Friday.

Personally, I think there's something else going on -- why did the media pointedly ignore these things for months and then decide to jump on them now? Did it just take this long to find some poor schmoe willing to take the fall for all of this?

The institutional left and the MSM (the same thing really) kept a lid on all these things as best they could to keep them from coming up during the election ... there's only so much they can stop.

It is infuriating how much Demonrat presidents gets away with (any Republican would have been impeached a dozen times over by now) but this guy makes even Bill Clinton and FDR look like pikers.

I wasn't a Bush fan, or of the Rove/Cheney oligarchy that really ran the presidency. But Bush (to the best of my knowledge) didn't infringe on my 2A rights... that alone gives him preference in my book. O-hole took all of the bad ideas that the Bushies had, all the jackbooted heavyhandedness, and added a disarmament agenda to it. They're both vile sacks of shit in my book. The only difference being that I think Bush should have been impeached, and O-hole.... tarred, feathered, and exiled.
