Yeah, unfortunately they are like AK's when price is considered. Romanian built now cost what Russian and Norinco used to cost, and the better Ruskie and Chinese built are costing an arm, leg and first born. Saw SVD's with 2 mags and standard issue scope with 4k+ price tags.
