Damn Bert, get better! That sucks. I remember a guy in Afghanistan (not our unit, but he was in our BDE) had a piece of shrapnel go into his eye- the Wiley-X goggles he had on stopped it from being fatal or having him lose sight in the eye- but a chunk of metal put a nice scar on the white of his eye... He said that was a pucker factor of about 100... on a scale of 1-10.

Damn that sucks, eye problems are the worst. A few years ago I had fuel sprayed into both eyes, as such a pressure that it got behind both eyes. I had to wear patches on both eyes for over a week. It sucked real bad being totally blind.
I was there all night too, never saw you.
Shoulda saw that cumin...... I mean coming!!
