I took my wife and 25 y.o. son. We all got the commemorative PMAGs (yeay!) - my sense is we were near the end of the freebies. Neat to see Michael Brown and Dana - Dana especially was great. She arrived in the helo.

Although my wife and son don't have an AR yet, they both wanted to keep theirs so they had an excuse to get one! That may bankrupt me, but pretty cool on the other hand. Wifester says she doesn't want "any gay pink furniture" on hers, and definitely no hello kitty stuff. She likes how Sarah Conner had hers set up in terminator, but thought the laser was for people who couldn't shoot! Said all she needs is irons!!! Thats my girl!!!

Just completed my wife's AR build today (MAGPUL B.A.D. lever & a laser engraved dust cover). Several months ago, when I showed her the pink Hello Kitty AR someone here built for their wife & asked her what she wanted, she said "I want a black one" (I think she was still talking about AR's). Brought a tear to my eye.

Sorry I missed this event - I'm sure it was worth attending.
