Do you have a target goal number in mind? Or just go until you're "there", whatever weight that may be?
There's a lot more of us ugly mf'ers out here than there are of you pretty people!

In college when I was in total stud mode (you know, nothing to do but train, lift, run, bike, occasionally go to class) I was at 189 lbs
So, i'm trying to get down to 200. I figure 11 lbs for 20 years is ok, right?????? And 200lbs on 6'1" of solid is pretty good.

Well, good luck to you! And congrats again! I think I'd "like" to get to 175, but that may not be realistic, I'm only 5'10" but I'm pretty large-framed, always have been. Really wide shoulder to shoulder. So I may be better at 2 bills as well. As long as someday I can fit behind the steering wheel of my Willys, I'll be happy.

You guys and these weight loss threads, keep 'em up! You're getting me riled up to do something. I think my biggest problem is not drinking enough water, never been a big water drinker. Need to change that.

one of my biggest NSV (non scale victories) was when I had to scoot my seat FORWARD in my truck. That was pretty exciting.

Everyone wants to do something, nobody wants to be big, you just need to find something that works for you. There are lots of options from weight watchers to low carb (what worked for me) to paleo/primal. Because for me a couple big moments were taking a defensive pistol class and realizing that i could barely get out of a kneeling position. How useful is that going to be? And the other is, is that there is no more money. There isn't going to be any money for all this medical care (that's way overpriced), so the more you can remove from causing yourself (all the common problems of being way overweight, high blood pressure, diabetes, foot problems, etc) the better chance you'll have.
