You needs a good ole fashions Rem700. It was stooped easy when I had to qual with it a few years ago. It got tricky out past 900 or so.

"I am a conservative. Quite possibly I am on the losing side; often I think so. Yet, out of a curious perversity I had rather lose with Socrates, let us say, than win with Lenin."

It's a measure of the civility in this country that no ones seems to fear constantly pissing off the people who own lots of guns.
I have this scope: http://www.opticsplanet.com/bushnell...fle-scope.html the g2dmr reticle makes things pretty easy to hold over. The lines aren't too thick at max power to accurately see a 2/3rds piece of steel, so no big worries there.
Just doing what I can to stay on this side of the dirt.

Stuff with dad and step mom...and a few other things has put a little bit of a crimp in dedicated theory studies and regular scale exercises, BUT, I have gotten the Floyd *wish you were here* down pretty well.
Vincent and I discussed lesson material suitable for having a useless arm, and we're going to focus back on specific notes within keys for study. Meaning diagnosing the triads incrementally.
Someday I'll have the funding for a good .308.

Tricky is relative. Today, a simple ballistic app on my phone helped out a metric poop-ton helped me true the curve to provide a better swag as to what it was going to do farther out.
i can't wait to wring it out even farther. It should still be supersonic to about 1150 or so says the ballistic app.

Oh, I'm building a Remington 700 now. I almost have enough for it to be thrown together. The bottom metal is on the way, so all I need is the scope base (and then to bed it to the rifle), then assemble and start blowing things up.
btw, 24x is too much for a hold over at 1000. I still need to wring out the scope to make sure that its doing what it's supposed to be doing.

I'm not gonna say out loud that if you can teach me that, I'd blow ya...... but, it does cross my mind that if you teach me, I'll pay JM to blow ya as a bonus.
