    08/08/08, it didn't hit the news much because it happened the same time as Beijing Olympic. McCain and Bush openly supported Georgia, apparently some claim that statement casue GOP the election.

    I'd be more upset if they weren't all Shrubmasters. Ruskies should've confiscated & used them...

    A good portion of their military was in Iraq at the time of the "disagreement". I was scheduled for leave at that time and all our flights were bumped from BIAP in order to get the Georgians out of Iraq and back to their country. They were very supportive of our efforts; I wish we would have been more supportive of them.

    A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'

    That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.
