MADDOG: there's a lot of discussion, in various places, about this 'proxy war'. History shows how wars are more than some ideological thing between people that "just can't get along". There is quite a bit of information, similar to this, available today. As you astutely observed, though, people are more interested in 'entertainment' than truth and reality...

I really do not care what one Syrian does to another. I do not want US taxpayer money being spent to help either a dictator or Al Qaeda backed rebels.

The big-O talking about there not being a 'red line' reminds me of Clinton and his scandal... All depends on how you define your words, I guess!

Liberals re-define words to suit their purposes every day. A word means what the liberal says it means, at that moment, as long as it aids totalitarianism.

France determines that Assad did the attack.

France says it will provide clear evidence that the Syrian regime was behind last month's devastating chemical attack, as Western leaders bid to overcome widespread scepticism to military action.
They will say anything to bolster their dhimmitude to Al Queda. Why don't they go back in time and talk to Neville Chamberlain about appeasement, then ask Churchill about the results of that appeasement.

And now the Obama Administration is asking to be the Arab's bitch

    From: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...e-2467ba30e5e3

Secretary of State John Kerry said at Wednesday’s hearing that Arab counties have offered to pay for the entirety of unseating President Bashar al-Assad if the United States took the lead militarily.

“With respect to Arab countries offering to bear costs and to assess, the answer is profoundly yes,” Kerry said. “They have. That offer is on the table.”

Asked by Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.) about how much those countries would contribute, Kerry said they have offered to pay for all of a full invasion.

“In fact, some of them have said that if the United States is prepared to go do the whole thing the way we’ve done it previously in other places, they’ll carry that cost,” Kerry said. “That’s how dedicated they are at this. That’s not in the cards, and nobody’s talking about it, but they’re talking in serious ways about getting this done.

The end goal is to surround Israel with hostile forces and push the Jews into the Med. Obama is doing the bidding of the Muslim Brotherhood, US troops are cannon fodder in this game.

I won't get into the details, but there are prophecies in the Bible about this... Fortunately, I know who wins at the end!
