After 9 days in hospice my dad has passed. He was surrounded by his wife of sixty years and all his children as he took his last breath and passed peacefully and pain free. After his memorial tomorrow and a couple more days of finishing off some of the affairs I'll be headed back to my second home. In a few weeks we will bring my mother out to stay with us through the holidays. Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers. Your words have helped through this difficult time.

Condolences on your loss. I'm glad to hear his final moments were spent surrounded by family and that they were peaceful.
