Yes, I plan on doing that. I thought it would be a good idea to have some direction to give the artist when I do sit down with them...hence the reason I'm asking around for ideas.

Oddly enough that is what the artist does, Work off your ideas and hopefully produce a design [or 2] worthy of your approval. But hey i only had 15 yrs in the business and 40 yrs of dermagraphic art involvement.

Besides it's your tattoo, if you're unable to conjure up a few ideas, perhaps you should hold off.

Put a sheet of paper on the frige. Every time you "think" of something write it down. When you have 1/2 doz ideas, start crossing off the ones you thought were good till you read them. When you're down to 2-3 find an artist and go from there.
