Weed has been recreationally legal here for a long time. And ever since, the State has gone into the political shit hole with transplants from New York to COlorado, and California to COlorado, etc. What's the new news?

And yes, if questioned about the legitimacy of their "pain" just all of them will display about the same reaction.

Who knows, maybe your girlfriend has some pain. I can't say for sure. Sorry though, I won't take a MMJ's card holders word for it.

Nor will I ever hire someone with one, sell to someone with one.

Sorry to insult your political beliefs, "New York, COlorado". Perhaps you should sober up and you'd be less pissy.
Or perhaps stop trying to force your transplanted bullshit on the natives 24/7.

Perhaps you haven't seen the negative effects, Nyco? I won't try to explain it though, I don't have the time to buy doritos and repeat myself.
IMO your reply to nynco came off snarky, if not condensing, to say the least.

Of alcohol many times. of drug abuse likewise. However what someone chooses to do , PROVIDING it does not have an adverse effect at work, in the vehicle or my personal space. Who cares. The same argument you're making is the same vitriol, anti-gun folks run off when quoting stats on gun violence.

It comes down to Personal Responsibility.

I believe that you are correct in your assertion. Nonetheless we should also accept the fact that there were already a great number of of these dyed in the wool Liberals in Colorado to begin with. These political changes are neither new nor surprising; just a culmination of a long and steady societal decline.

One of the many reasons young people are turning away from conservatism is issues like this. The hypocrisy of claiming to be about freedom, personal responsibility, how we should respect the 2nd Amendment and others.... then jailing people for smoking a weed that causes no person any real harm. Same thing with gay rights issues. Well, you want to now why you are on the defensive, because you are locked into a hypocritical way of thinking. Sadly neither party is worth a damn. You want to preserve your 2nd Amendment rights well stop alienating people with the hypocrisy on other issues.

Actually the left has alienated me. Pretending to be" liberal" but in all actuality, more fascist than conservatives.

Agreed for many things. Both sides are fascists in different respects. No one in this nation is served well by this two party dictarshit other than the people who buy both sides and then use the social issues to pit us against each other. Instant Run Off Voting is a solution to that.

You don't seem to get it. You can't claim to be for less gov and then be for prohibition. You can't be for less gov and then be for laws from big government that attack gay people. Young people see it as hypocrisy. So either you learn to look at things the way they really are and stop with the advocating of BIG GOVERNMENT oppression from the right, or you will continue to lose more to the Dems.

Young people don't care when old men cry wolf about socialism. They laugh at you.

Both sides are for big government just different types. But the right wing claims to be not for it and the hypocrisy is killing them. Either evolve or die off... that is your choice.

I get migraines that send me to the hospital. They totally blind me. They cause my head to pound for days and make my stomach hurt for up to a week.

Oh, they make me have tears too.

The thought of using weed has never crossed my mind.

Maybe I'm just a different class of person.

Sent from my teepee using smoke signals.

Yeah, the Liberal, douchenheimer morons who think we should all turn in our guns and throw fairy dust and unicorn vaginas at criminals. Those are just the people I want flocking to Colorado.

Being a society of laws has nothing to do with the size of government. (Edit: And I don't care what you smoke or who you fawk). Seriously, focus your thoughts. You are all over the map today.
It really is a flight of ideas, clinically speaking.

NYNCO, you're missing what Foxtrot is saying. He is describing a political maneuver that is more subtle than how it appears on the surface. I don't know that I agree with the maneuver, but suffice it to say that there are more ways to wage political warfare than just marching straight forward.
