Daaaamn, that is WAY too close for me! I'm looking at the feet to feet distance in that photo. I've been scary close to bull elk before in Estes Park, but I won't be tempting no moose, they're too pissy. Death wish much?

Yep. Some folks don't learn until it's too late. Last summer a woman was seriously hurt just up canyon a half mile. She tried to rescue her dog that was off-leash.

I learned my lesson having been charged twice by moose in the long ago past.
