    A box of .22 shorts for .25 cents, Long Rifle .30 cents. Gas was .20 cents a gallon and the service station attendant would not only fuel up the car but would check the pressure in all four tires, wash the windshield and dry it off with a chamois. That was back a ways though.

    Geez. I bet you remember when bread was ten cents a loaf too.

    Nope, don't remembering bread at ten cents per loaf however do remember it being twenty cents but you had to slice it yourself.

    I remember all of that. One night my dad came home from work and remarked angrily to my mom that the Mobile station had just raised the price of premium to $.33/9 per gallon.
