No, I never trusted the guy to begin with, but was still on his side because BLM/Feds/Reid were significantly more in the wrong than he ... the problem now is that he's undermined all his supporters because now we don't support a rancher being wronged by the government, we support a racist. Period. Full Stop. And now nothing that the government does to him can be criticized.

The goal of Reid and the Democrat/Media complex is to paint Bundy and his supporters as rogue elements, "terrorists", modern Klansmen. And with this one stupid interview he just gave the left everything they need to hang him AND us with him.

God protect the next white rancher the BLM goes after, because now they'll be emboldened enough to kill his entire herd and put his head on a pike and nobody can come to his aid without being painted with the "racist" brush by the media and the Democrats.

Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

“His remarks on race are offensive and I wholeheartedly disagree with him,” Paul said in a statement, according to Business Insider. Jumped that ship faster than a captain in Korea.

    And it shouldn't.
The same premise Clive Bundy spoke of, has been stated repeatedly by Thomas Sowell.

Thanks for posting this. When was that interview done? 70's, 80's? Nothing's changed, it's just gotten worse. Oh, well maybe a s***load of democrat "leaders" have gotten rich.

"It really don’t matter to me if you twist my words out," Bundy said at the end of his press conference. "It matters that my heart goes out to the people of this world, and they understand what I stand for."

The concept of the welfare system being modern slavery isn't new. I don't have a problem with what he said.

I think the comparison to picking cotton as a job coupled with the subject of slavery was probably not the best choice of words. I agree with him in that having 3rd and 4th generation welfare families is evidence that something is really wrong. Humans really need to understand the rewards of the fruit of their labor to fulfill their full development as members of a society.
