I watched the whole thing and still have a problem with the BLM's actions. I have a problem with you you saying " is there anything he said that is not true?. I don't wear panties or drink lattes. What he said was stupid and hurt not only the support for his cause but all those who come after him. Passive aggressive comments like the one you made are out of line.

If you watch the video (post #51), the very first thing Mr. Bundy talks about is that blacks had riots due to their lack of freedoms (Watts) and that we've come a long way, and that we "sure don't want to go back." He set the tone in the first 35 seconds of the clip. The clip then ends with his praise of Mexican family values over white's.

You heard the word "slavery" and had an emotional reaction, IMO.
The point Mr. Bundy is attempting to get across is that, welfare recipients are/were better off having a job, a purpose, something to do with their lives.
Drop the PC BS and try to understand the ideas he is attempting to convey. He is not a polished public speaker. He calls it how he sees it.

That's not exactly the way it went. Setting the tone and comparing someone being a slave and growing turnips as "better life" is ridiculous. I don't have to agree with that, even if I oppose the the actions of the BLM. Being a slave serves a purpose for a fruitful life? How many hundreds of thousand of lives were lost to stop slavery. It ripped our country apart. I did call you an idiot but removed it 15 seconds later. I guess you forgot about the panties and latte comment. Apparently that wasn't emotional? A little ad on. All people black, white, yellow, purple whatever are better off not relying on the state. We tend to associate welfare with one particular group when in fact those numbers are often skewed and misleading. As stated previously. The same percentage of blacks and whites are on welfare. The total percentage of of those groups is a huge spread. 70% to 12.5%. It's not a race problem it's a society problem.
