My apology about the confusion on the SBR. Thanks for the clarification. I guess I'm still unclear on the restriction on use of an AR pistol. Do they believe the lack of a stock makes the weapon unsafe?

I see people shoulder pistol ARs especially when they have a wrapped buffer tube/extension. I don't think I will ever understand the BATFE logic on the SIG brace, but that may be a good thing for me. I have seen at least one vendor is selling a longer buffer tube specifically for the brace. It brings the over all length to the same length as a carbine stock extended to the first lock position. Other than the marketing video, I don't know if anyone is actually slipping that thing on their forearm.
