For what it's worth, I don't think I've ever had a stranger come to my door with anything that I needed to know, or where I was glad that I answered. However, people come over unannounced all the time.

I rather just not answer the door, my time is worth more than what they need. Why should I waste my time? I'm not tying to be a dick... (yeah I know I am being one) but so what?

I don't think you're being a dick, just looking at the issue from a different frame of reference. I don't want to take this thread any more off topic. Maybe one day I'll put it in the pet peeves thread if I ever get annoyed enough. It's perfectly fine if people don't want to answer the door, I just don't understand it.

I am fine with agreeing to disagree. Not taking anything personally, and am open-minded enough to take this to pet peeves thread or PM if you want. Many of my nuances in life are based off of real life events.
