Yeah, wasn't like they were already WAY overpriced to begin with. And I'm not surprised about the hype already. Figure it won't be long and you'll see some over-accessorized Saiga up on Armslist for $5K or higher.
Time to sit back & watch it go full-retard.

The gov can't stop the drugs and people from getting in the USA, how will they stop millions of full auto AK's from getting in? I can see the gang bangers going and buying them up cheap by the container load. Nothing to stop them from coming in at any port. With ammo included in the deal.

Yep. I should've bought one years ago at the $500 price, but none of us had a crystal ball to foresee the nonsense coming. If that were the case, we all would've opened a gun store when BO first got elected. We would've stockpiled black rifles until they were pouring out of our tails. Then when all the hype hit, sold them for a truck load of $$$ and retired.

Hell, i'd dump the AK's i have for under $1K (each) they're collecting dust, taking up space.

I'm sure there will be PM's coming your way, Jim...
Anyone know how copyright/patent law works from a Russian design?
The way the're going to be priced, an all US version should be forthcoming... I see being able to pay for a low-end CNC operation with the first 25 sales...
(it's not like any AK is complicated)

ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ, we are the III%, CIP2, and some other catchphrase meant to aggravate progreSSives who are hell bent on taking rights away...
Except that you can buy any other ak from x number of countries.. Gunplumber from falfiles and akfiles is right.. Ak enthusiasts are cheap asses and as long as someone is selling questionable parts for $20 they will skip over solid parts from reputable dealers for $21..
You still can't come near building a full US made ak for anywhere near the price of a yugo kit on a nodak receiver... There will still not be a market for a US made AK.
sent from a soup can and some string..
