i agree, not sure why a dept has to have a certain gun. Dept armorers?
I think the wear and tear on a gun is a bullshit argument. They obviously thought the 40 was a better round so replace the parts on the gun. How many rounds are these guys shooting? This is another waste of taxpayer $$$$.
