I also went on the 12th, but in Feb. I showed up about 15 minutes before they shut down though, so I didn't see anyone.

Whoa Stuart, you got lucky since you only had 15 min left.They say to get there early, but I think AC is pretty lenient anyway and are not all that busy. My uncle went and applied about 2 weeks ago and he said there was hardly anyone there when he went too.

I had to drive all the way up to Brighton from Wheat Ridge and left at like 3:20pm. I called about 15 times trying to get a hold of someone and make sure someone would be there. I eventually left a message. I was totally expecting to either completely miss them, or to get attitude for coming in with only 15 minutes left till 4:00pm. Instead, every one I spoke with was very nice. The guy who took my prints struck up polite conversation the whole time I was there, which was longer than usual since the computer didn't like my prints and we ended up going through the whole process two times.

WOW! I am glad that you at least had a pleasant experience considering that yes everyone always gets "grumpy" when it's "closing time". That's really cool.
