    Bwahahahaha .... Wikipedia strikes again!

As this occurred during the Cold War, an unknown number of people worried that a nuclear first-strike might be in progress.
Um, yeah. I don't recall that discussion on the Ops Loop at any time.

Historical sunspot rotating to face Earth

Scientists around the world have their eyes turned to the sun this week.
That’s because an historical sunspot is rotating to face the earth.
NASA Scientist Dr. Alex Young joins the WTKR/WGNT Morning Show to explain what this all means, and how this could affect you in a major way.
What is a sunspot, and what makes this one so special?
Why do we want to learn more from this sunspot? Will it affect us here on Earth? What is NASA doing to study sunspots?
Dr. Young has answers to all of your questions in the video below:

For scientists, these people missed the lecture about not looking at the sun.

The earth rotates on it's axis and orbits the sun. The sun rotates on it's axis and orbits the center of the Milky Way galaxy.

Gravity is a very attractive concept
