As someone who works in the technology field, I used to laugh at movies like Eagle Eye or that one where Diane Lane's car was "hacked".

Eagle Eye is still a dumb as hell movie, but I'm not laughing anymore.

I always thought the .gov had a backdoor to the cpu, I never dreamed of the firmware to the hard drive. With that capability they could destroy a person adding incriminating data to your computer and then having you falsely convicted. Or they could erase you completely...
