The first wave of islamic attacks may indeed be gunmen, but they'll eventually graduate to car bombs, suicide bombers and IEDs before too long.

Car bombs and suicide bombers will happen and sooner than we are prepared for I'm afraid to say. When do we push back when these types of attacks happen? Do we continue to wait for the government to react? These are truly dangerous times and getting worse with the inaction of government.

I seriously can't believe that a "Day of Wrath" scenario hasn't taken place yet. Sadly, I think it's just a matter of time.

Is anyone ever "prepared" for bombings?

I'm actually more worried about action from this regime then inaction.

We'll have yet another internal struggle among the citizenry while ISIS moves on to their next plan.
    Highly likely.

But if it weren't for Geller, what would the compromise need to be to keep the barbarians happy? These are the monsters who behead and rape because their victims have a different religion. In a way, Geller has done us a favor by forcing Americans to see ISIS as a direct threat and not the JV team Obama has been ignoring (or helping if you see it that way).

I really don't see a moderate position to be had with people who are committed to your destruction.

And Moms Demanding need to do some heavy thinking on this.

Yes, I think we have. We went and fought some wars over it, so I think the public considers the matter addressed, and closed. This is unfortunate.

Skip, I don't think anything should be done to appease anyone, ever. In this case, I don't know if there even is a "right" thing to do; but there will certainly be a reality that we will all have to face one way or the other. I don't even know how to prepare for what comes next.

I have to agree with your guys observations and predictions. In fact, I think they are certain to happen. While ISIS' strategy for Europe and the US seems to be built around encouraging home-grown terrorism, like these Garland idiots. there have been reports about at least one ISIS training camp within a few miles of the border in cartel land, and other ISIS camps scattered around the US. Given our lax border and port security, it is highly likely a few well trained hit squads could infiltrate and put together some devastating attacks. Given the escalating "war on police" by the left and Beeho, they are looking at any way to hobble law enforcement further. Not sure what their end-game is, but seems to be perhaps federalizing the police or at least controlling them so that many legitimate crimes aren't investigated or prosecuted.

Stay away from major public venues? I know that's a "silly" suggestion but really, that's all you can do.
