Damn it read my reply about this in the other thread. The logic is totally and completely flawed and shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the ruling and basic law.
This is the problem with people basing their opiniona on short, carefully chosen to support their side, excerpts from the media vs. reading the opinion itself.
The court goes through a whole bunch of gyrations and acrobatics to say why marriage is a special social construct and as such needs/has to be applied everywhere.
We have had the 14th ammendment for a long time, and we even had a SCOTUS ruling about its application to restrictive gun laws (hint: we won). But nothing there says that a license must be honored everywhere. Again, see the gymnastics mentioned above
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

I'm so glad I'm a heterosexual, white Christian male and can pretty much do whatever I want in this country.
The constitution is irrelevant ... we no longer live in a Constitutional Republic, we live in an Administrative/Bureaucratic State under a Judicial Oligarchy that uses "constitutional arguments" as window dressing for "rule by fiat".
For that matter discussion of "the law" is irrelevant as "the law" is whatever whomever has the power to enforce it says it is.
Things are going to get interesting.
Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

"I am a conservative. Quite possibly I am on the losing side; often I think so. Yet, out of a curious perversity I had rather lose with Socrates, let us say, than win with Lenin."
