It'll shove back to where it's flush and looks nice, but I don't have a good way to see back there to determine if the lines are kinked if I do that (the individual cabinet walls are still in place. Maybe if I had a snake camera or something I could come in from the hole by the sink with. Of course the hole left where they cut out the existing cabinet looks pretty bad when the unit is pushed back that far. That may be part of reason they didn't want to do that as well, now that I'm looking at it.
