I had the back seat in the truck piled high with rifle bags coming home from BLGC the last time I got pulled over and I was hauling ass.

We had a pleasant, respectful, and relaxed conversation. He ran my DL (no record there).

I've never had my permit get me out of a ticket. I don't even bother mentioning it anymore.

This thread was better when you were trying to be funny.

I had a Gilpin County Sheriff say "Thank you" when I told him I was carrying when he stopped me for an an expired trailer tag. He ran my info, of course, but no ticket. But I haven't gotten a ticket from the Gilpin boys since I moved here 16 years ago so probably not because I was carrying.

And I carry in a holster when driving. My Super Tuck Delux (aka the Bruce Jenner Commemorative) is the most comfortable I've owned yet.

I've gotten pulled over twice in the past 12 years. Each time I handed my concealed carry permit with the license to the officer. Each time I got a ticket.

My white privilege is apparently about a quart low...

I tried the cleavage-flash but apparently an unshaved chest doesn't quite do it in CO. Whouda' thunk it.

If it was in Boulder they probably didn't think you were worthy of carrying...

The only time I recently got out of a ticket working the last ten years was also the only time that I openly argued with an officer. He got mad and stomped back to his bike and ride away. I didn't realize that he left my id and insurance and was waiting for him to give me a ticket when I realized that he'd ridden off. This all happened with my not-very-white wife sifting in the passenger seat who immediately told me this only happened because I was white, and maintains that to this day. She's probably right, but I wish it would happen more often.
