I love how they still hold onto their elitist attitude. They dont even get that its what lost the election. Here's a thought, if dems are so much smarter because they all have a college education, then why are there so many underpaid/unemployed college graduates? If they were so smart, you'd think they could start their own business and be successful on their own merit. Hmmm...

Because we're stupid. If we weren't stupid we would just give up our paychecks to those wise worthless Libs and accept that they are our betters.

In all honesty, it wasn't that long ago that some people were celebrating the 2 electors in the Pacific Northwest who said they couldn't in good conscience vote for Hillary. I don't begrudge him his viewpoint and it's up to his state and the people he represents to hold him accountable or enforce their will as Colorado appears ready to. Further stories I saw said this guy WAS with the Dale City VFD but they haven't responded as to whether he was part of the unit that responded to the Pentagon.

I did not know about those 2, I wouldn't celebrate that either.

It's over, folks. Electoral college has elected Trump as President.

With Hawaii still to vote, Trump had 304 votes and Clinton had 224. It takes 270 Electoral College votes to win the presidency. Texas put Trump over the top, despite two Republican electors casting protest votes.
In all of the talk about getting electors to not vote for Trump, there were more defections on the Democrat side.
Democrats turn 'faithless electors' in U.S. Electoral College surprise
At least five Democrats who had been committed to back Hillary Clinton in the U.S. Electoral College cast ballots for other people on Monday, the largest number of "faithless electors" seen in well over a century.

The 538 electors were voting across the country to confirm Republican Donald Trump as the next president. The event is normally a formality but took on extra prominence this year after some Democrats urged electors to revolt and switch to Clinton, who won the national popular vote on Nov. 8.

In the end, it was not Republicans breaking ranks. The Democratic dissidents - four from Washington state and one from Maine - underscored deep divisions within their party and effectively dashed long-shot hopes by some activists that Republicans pledged to Trump might back Clinton.

By late afternoon, no Republican elector was reported to have cast a ballot for anyone other than Trump, although one elector from Texas had written that he planned to do so.

The move by the five was a rare break from the tradition - and in many states a legal requirement - of casting an Electoral College ballot as directed by the outcome of that state's popular election.

It appeared to be the largest number of electors not supporting their party's nominee since 1872, when 63 Democratic electors did not vote for party nominee Horace Greeley, who had died after the election but before the Electoral College convened, according to Fairvote.org. Republican Ulysses S. Grant had won re-election in a landslide.

I know about one of those TX turncoats but not the other.

Something tells me a lot of state laws regarding the EC are going to change after this.

In the end, two republican electors turned their votes to Ron Paul, and Gov Kasich, respectively, from Texas. Five electors from other states turned their votes to Bernie Sanders (4) or some injun chick instead of Hillary Clinton.

Final total - Trump 304, Clinton 227, Sanders 4, Ron Paul 1, Gary Kasich 1, some injun chick 1.

So on the one hand, Obama "takes some of the blame" for huge Democratic losses in the Senate, House, governorships, and state legislatures during his reign: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...ocratic-losse/

On the other hand, he still doesn't realize or care about why they lost: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...s-targeting-c/

Seriously, rushing out more ill-conceived regulations that are just going to be struck down in a month ... even if he believes his BS, why do this?
