The upper is an aero Precision enhanced upper. The handguard as part of their proprietary handguard line. It is a 12-inch handguard. On a 16 inch barrel build, it makes the 308 rifle pretty light.

Agreed. They are pretty light. I built a 14.5" using aero upper, handguard, lower and lpk, a jp barrel, jp low weight bcg and buffer system and a larue stock and trigger. Then used a aero mount and march 1-10 scope and man that thing is light and manueverable.

I'm not sure how match scopes do it. They have a 10x magnification variable in a 30 mm tube and nearly 50 percent lighter than competition. And excellent glass. It's crazy.

Traded off the 07' 2500 and moved into a 3500 dually. The old black truck did me right and never left me stranded, but it was time for her to retire. I needed something with a little more ass to pull the new fifth wheel. The new truck is by far the fanciest truck I've ever owned.
