The Omaha Zoo is actually pretty great; I'd say better than our zoo. There was another exhibit that had a paper bag from Walmart right in the middle of the display.
Yeah, the Omaha Zoo was very nice. It's been years since I've been there. There's that one exhibit that's a huge enclosure with suspended rope walkways and birds flying around and stuff. Very cool.
Did they have the desert dome when you went? Under the dome they have a cave setting that is in the dark with all the nocturnal animals. They also have a swamp that is also in the dark with suspended walk ways over alligators and beavers and nutria rats.

I don't remember any of that - sounds cool as hell. We'll have to make a stop on our next trip to Des Moines with the kiddos.
