I'm not sure about that - I think it's more likely that what will happen is that as the major media continues to blow a gasket over everything that Trump does/says/doesn't do/doesn't say, normal, non-political people will just tune it all out, and eventually all the people yelling and screaming and foaming at the mouth will realize that nobody is paying attention to them.

No major elections this November and in politics, 6 months is an eternity. Whatever Trump (or Congress) does this Summer will be long forgotten by the time the campaign season for the mid-terms starts next year.

When we were in school we were still taught what communism is, a constantly tied always failed experiment that goes against human nature. It was not being openly endorsed and taught in public school and college as the save all utopia. You know freedoms days are numbered when schools and colleges actively and violently protest conservative speakers and openly endorse a bigger and more powerful all controlling government. I doubt these snowflakes even understand the consequences of what they are pushing.

If the DNC had not rigged the primary for Hillary, we likely would now have an open Socialist President Bernie.

It's been increasing steadily for the last 25 years but really took off during the Obama administration. Once Obama was elected, all the regressive lefties came out of the closet in terms of changing our education system into an indoctrination system. You don't remember the Maoist songs and praise sessions that started immediately as he took office? Hell, comparing news coverage and "educational" materials today to stuff from 30 years ago or 50 years ago is extremely enlightening. One thing today's "conservatives" need to do is stop letting the Left dictate the battleground by using their language. Most "conservatives" today are moderates by any long-term look at historical political definitions or stances -- we should reclaim the middle ground because a lot of people just WANT to be in the middle. Letting the Left define the center automatically swings about 20% of the population into their camp without any thought at all. They are NOT progressive and we shouldn't let them get away with taking that label. They are regressive Stalinists or Maoists and we should be calling them out on that.

Most of the people who blather on about "science" WRT global warming and greenhouse gases aren't very familiar with actual science (e.g., Al Gore, Leonardo di Caprio, Meryl Streep, Nancy Pelosi, etc.); some of the others mistake observed effects with actual proving a causal relationship and don't even catch the implications of various topics they discuss. Case in point -- coral bleaching is often referenced as proof positive of global warming but recent studies have pointed out the toxic effects on coral of the type of sunscreen used, primarily by people of European descent. Where are the corals bleaching? Primarily where people of European descent like to use the ocean. MY take-away is that more study is needed: either, both, or neither may be the primary cause for the observed bleaching.

These organizers are trained after signing up and agreeing to commit to a work schedule over the summer. Training includes:

Developing campaign strategy

Recruitment

Getting media coverage

Political analysis

When you complete the training you get a $150.00 stipend and to be part of a "Rapid Response Team", that is you get to be one of the major instigators of the actions roberth mentioned above. I found myself at a similar house party back in February. It was full of very angry people with their panties in varying states of wad, busily sharing and comparing posts they had all shared on facebook over the previous months on their phones. As I don't do facebook or have a news feed on my phone I was a little left out. As they filled up on gluten free vegetarian snacks, over priced beer, and cheap wine, things quieted down considerably. I was spared most of it by a lot of bourbon and a couple of children who asked me to help them build stuff with Legos.

I think it would be more fun -- if you could stomach it -- to show up with a button camera and record the goings on while acting like your basic no-sense Boulderite who watches Rachel Maddow and believes the crap she peddles. I'm actually enjoying watching the left blow a gasket. They're doing what they accuse the right of doing. They can't control themselves. They're on full display.

The MSM is showing how irrelevant they've become. While they chant how the world is ending, our economy should continue to improve. Then the noise just doesn't matter.
