If the state politicians wouldn't listen to the combined voice of the sheriffs they won't listen to the sportsmen.

I suppose you might be right. Definitely the case if gun owners and conservatives commit themselves like they always do by contacting their reps, voting, and singing petitions

There's only one way to do that . . . and as much as the commie state dems squawk about how guns are the problem, very few dems would actually want to see a 2A repeal amendment come up for a vote. Once you open that door, even the fudds will turn on them at the ballot box.

They’ll keep playing the long game. Slow erosion of rights and make it harder and harder to enjoy shooting of any type. Generations turn over, and much like trying to find a millennial who can drive a stick shift, there won’t be groups of enthusiasts or freedom appreciating Americans to push back. As it is, these kids hate responsibility.

Yet not once have I ever heard of tougher penalties for law breakers.
