    Got some new shoes for a 1911. They were intended for a customized blued 1911, but the gunsmith who has had it for the last 7 months appears to have made zero progress, so it might be a while. In the meantime, they will ride on my fancy Delta:

    It's a cheapy China water cooled spindle, so I'm not too worried if I end up hating the ER20. I can always sell it off in the DIY CNC world, and then upgrade to something better/different once I know what would be better.
