No. Her index finger is closest to the nut and her pinky is toward the bridge. It?s right. What makes it look weird is the downward angle.

No, her pinky is next to the nut (its a locking nut) and the frets get closer together as they go to the right. So my mockup is correct and the photo in the ad is incorrect.Originally Posted by CavSct1983

No. Cav is correct. Index finger is by the locking the nut. Pinky is farthest from the head. The photo has been inappropriately mirrored and rotated to fit the layout.

It's a hand model, using the bridge of a guitar as a way to draw attention to her beautiful hands and the bright red nail polish on her exquisitely-manicured fingernails!
If she was an actual guitar player, her nails would look like hell and definitely not be shaped in such a way as to inhibit pressing down on those strings. Her fingers would also have calluses or else creases and bright red spots from the constant pressure.
Pressure which is NOT being placed upon those strings.
Her hand and fingers were likely gently guided into that position by someone that has a passing familiarity with guitar chords.
