I think you're right. Pretty unfortunate since people who are of age and aren't restricted, should be able to get guns.

I'm curious to see how many days they'll close schools if they don't find her right away.

I think if she was truly a "Columbine fanatic" (whatever that means), then she would attempt something as close to 4/20 as possible, which means Friday, or if she were smarter, Monday. Either way, no way schools will stay closed that long, nor will most people be able to maintain high levels of fear if something isn't happening within 48 hours. Additionally, there is a good chance she'll encounter some news and realize that staging an attack on the day that 400,000 students are home from school is not ideal. If she isn't found before then, she'd simply wait till everyone is back. So, seems like a poorly timed closure, but I really don't see the schools doing anything different while everyone is in full panic mode.

Of course I'm just guessing in the dark like everyone else.
