Have you shot this enough to say whether the barrel is accurate? The ELD barrels I have bought are tack drivers.

I've only ran it with the night vision, so during the day the veiw isn't the best, but she still runs 1.5" groups at 200 yards with my reloads.

Took it and my AR pistol to the range a couple times this weekend. Going back and forth between the rifle and carbine length gas systems really shows the difference in felt recoil.

You might be surprised how much of that difference is attributable to modern barrels being severely overgassed. Try out a BRT port restrictor or small hole gastube, and you might find the carbine experience improves tremendously.

Did you piece it together or buy the upper assembled? I bought a few from Mas Defense when they were selling them. The last 2 came from
Davidsen defense. The wife who seldom shoots was touching bullet holes at 100 yards last year.

I think mine is really marginal. The first mag, every other round or so would eject the spent round, but couldn't load the next. It smoothed out after and ran fine.

I pieced this one together. I didn't go crazy with high end parts as it was built strictly for night hunting, and I didn't require the same precision as I do from my day rifles. I was very surprised how accurate it all is though.

Is that the cannons I hear test firing at 25 yards up there some nights I'm 400 yards away and some nights the sound travels enough to hear it.
