Born in Texas and lived there for the first 28 years of my life. Texas is pretty low on my list of states I?d like to live in. Unless you?re willing to live in one of the big cities the rest of the state is still living in the dark ages. The climate doesn?t suit me for the majority of the state as well.

I remember when I moved here people would give me a little shit for being from Texas. I bet in retrospect they should have encouraged me to bring more friends and family with me. I?m guessing if the amount of people moving here from Texas was as great as the number of people flooding in from California the political climate over the last twenty years would be totally different.

Say what you want about Texans but they do value their freedoms and liberties and are pretty intolerant of those that would try and infringe on their rights.
