Never saw the day I?d see a cruiser in my garage and for damn sure never thought I?d see an HD in there. Well I started falling in love with cruisers and ended up finding a cherry 2004 VROD. One owner, 8k miles and not a single scratch on it. I?m having a blast on it.

A Porsche on 2 wheels. Find a nice stretch of open road and twist that wick all the way. I like 392 - 14 out to Sterling for a wide open throttle twisting italian tune up.

It definitely runs like a Porsche! I’m pretty happy with it. I’ve opened it up a few times and it puts a grin each time. Of course it’s not arm ripping like my liter bikes but it’s definitely a stop light monster.

The V-Rod is pretty quick, for sure. What year did they go to the larger fuel tank?
I think 06 or 07. For what I do, it works great. I didn’t realize how low this thing sat and just scraped the hell out of the exhaust slinging it around a turn.

Don't laugh. My Road King will do 90...easy. Maybe 91 going slightly downhill. That's what I like about Harleys...they go barely fast enough to kill me.

My bike tops out at 176 (GPS verified, not speedo), and that's... ahem... different..., even in controlled environments...
