Is there anyone here that is apart of an Amateur Radio (HAM radio) club in the North Metro area? Im looking into learning more about this and getting a license.

There are several licensees, a couple of them either in clubs or know clubs, here on the forum.
There are a few comms related threads in Survival & Preparedness that also include licensing discussions, in case you missed them.
My airstream has been stolen by dopers
Plenty of clubs, go to arrl.net i think and you should be able to look up local clubs.

Ham Radio outlet sells study guides! The can also give information for where to take the exam. Also they can point you to folks who will teach you freely the skills needed to take the test! I have been enjoying this hobby for 25 years and have made contacts around the globe! Although I lean towards Morse Code exchanges,,, that is not required today to get on the air!

Yeah, that store on Iliff has been there forever.
Probably going to ask them for help on doing antennas and radios for HAM and CB in my truck.
