Watching a lot of true crime shows, inevitably the crimes are a complete waste of life, time, resources....the devastation radiates far and wide.
The odds of getting away with something like this are pretty close to zero, but in the criminal's mind they put the odds at close to 100%.
I think things happen before people can get control of themselves and by then it's too late.

Leaving her body amongst the dispersed camping area a few miles down the road from one of the most iconic scenic overlooks in the country. Yeah- sounds like a recipe for her not being found. Probably thought the "bears and wolves" would eat her.
How are they so sure he was not involved in the UT killings?

Latest news at 10pm is that unconfirmed "resources" within the investigation are confirming it is her remains that were found. This is based on items found on the remains, clothing, and the general description (ht, wt, hair, etc.). I am sad for the family, wish the outcome could have been better.

7 News also reported there's over 600 (SIX HUNDRED!) people missing in Colorado! 600 families missing a loved one, with no clue what happened to them/where they are.
