Not strictly in line with the thread but two movies in theatres:

"Dune". Special effects are good, easier to follow than original movie, this is 'Part-1'. All-star cast, overall good movie, a bit slow at times. As with any installment, leaves you hanging. ETA: I still don't understand how they conquer interstellar travel yet still fight with knives.

"No Time To Die", final installment of Daniel Craig as 007. Very good, well done. A bit clunky in plot development, a few questionable characters cast, but overall very good.

They fight with knives / sharp instruments, because any type of projectile, is stopped by their shields.

Think of their shields like it's kevlar.

Lasers cut through them like butter. Even fast moving projectiles would impart enough momentum to break their bones, like a kevlar vest. Blow darts would work. Sling shots. Energy beams.....

I really hated the new Dune. Almost nothing new offered over the original movie.

Amazon, "Prometheus". They should just title these movies "Idiots in space".

    Watched all of Altered Carbon.

Waiting for Ozark to come back for 4th and last season.

Also waiting for Rip to take Brandon to the train station.

Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

Started this series as well. The show is definitely over hyped.
