    Oh, good . . . so Denver will basically turn into Cancun. This should be fun.

    What is the fascination this legislature has with letting cyclists not stop for red lights and stop signs and now letting motorcycle riders ride between lanes?

    Sure, you have my permission. Let us know how it works out

    What next? Bicycles on I-25?

    You choose to ride a bike, you should not get special privilege. I see enough bad behavior from them on the roads already. It not my job to clear the way so you can execute your stupid attempts out there.

    Well, it should be no different than a motorcycle. Just because a certain form of convenance has engineering and design challenges with typical driving conditions, society should have zero obligation to make traffic accomodations that increase the those users' happiness. "My bike overheats, it's too hot in leathers, I have to breath fumes, it's boring to sit in traffic"... Boo hoo... Get in line like every other citizen or ride someplace else. This bill is living proof that neither party has a monopoly on entitlement.

    The new law does not allow riding on the shoulder.

    Hmm. So I can ride on the right side of the vehicles in the left lane effectively splitting two lanes but to skirt by the left lane vehicles on their left side suddenly becomes traveling on the shoulder?

    Are we sure law enforcement is good enough to determine if I?m riding the shoulder or just splitting the left lane on the left side?

    THE DRIVER OF A TWO-WHEELED MOTORCYCLE MAY OVERTAKE OR PASS ANOTHER MOTOR VEHICLE IN THE SAME LANE AS THE MOTORCYCLE IF:

    (A) THE OVERTAKEN OR PASSED MOTOR VEHICLE IS STOPPED;

    (B) THE MOTOR VEHICLES IN THE ADJACENT LANES, IF THE LANES ARE FOR THE SAME DIRECTION OF TRAVEL AS THE LANE OCCUPIED BY THE TWO-WHEELED MOTORCYCLE, ARE STOPPED;

    (C) THE DRIVER OF THE TWO-WHEELED MOTORCYCLE IS ON A ROAD WITH LANES WIDE ENOUGH TO PASS SAFELY;

    (D) THE PASSING MOTORCYCLE IS DRIVING AT FIFTEEN MILES PER HOUR OR LESS; AND

    (E) CONDITIONS PERMIT PRUDENT OPERATION OF THE MOTORCYCLE WHILE OVERTAKING OR PASSING.

    A PERSON OVERTAKING OR PASSING PURSUANT TO THIS SUBSECTION (3)(b) SHALL NOT OVERTAKE OR PASS:

    (A) ON THE RIGHT SHOULDER;

    (B) To THE RIGHT OF A VEHICLE IN THE FARTHEST RIGHT-HAND LANE IF THE HIGHWAY IS NOT LIMITED ACCESS; OR

    (C) IN A LANE OF TRAFFIC MOVING IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION.

    Saw a guy on a bike get throw about 50 feet the other day. Blew through a stop sign when the cross traffic had no stop sign. Lawyers like claims and lawsuits, it makes them money.

    I asked the State Patrol, about that law, a few questions. The reply was "Good questions, we don't know yet."

    I'm ready for the MC cops to write tickets to lane filtering MC riders going 20 mph.

    Oh. This reads as no big deal then, just explicitly classifying the act of motorcycles moving to the front of the pack at red lights as explicitly not illegal.

    Back in the day, before the traffic patterns turned to shit in the springs, this was common practice. We always waved the motorcycle up to the front so they could be on their way instead of stuck behind the behemoth soccor mom Canyonero's.
    Never complain; never explain.
