All of my dealings with people on this sight have been very positive both with those much younger than me and those of ahhh shall we say a similiar age. Dont want to age myself too much.
At 24, I believe in common courtesy, owning up to one's word, following through, holding doors open, etc. I see a lot of that stuff absent with people older than me even. I think it's just a lot of selfishness with people, people aren't "neighborly" anymore.
I don't answer PM's because it's too much trouble to do so.
Which is WHY I have my email address posted in my profile - what I dont understand is why there are so many people who don't want email contact via the website!
I can get my email on my phone and answer it, I DO get a notification email from ar15co, but I have to log into the website to answer it - pain in the ass.
So my posts always list my email, and my profile is email enabled and i say to contact me via email. Once a guy PM'd me about something for sale, and I went to look at my post - and is said "email contact please" (sic) and he PM'd me like six times in one day. I was at work and unable to answer...
ended up getting a "you are an a##hole" pm from him by the end of the day.
So PM'ing has never worked well for me, but I do try to answer them when I get near a PC.
I'm new but I've been lurking for about a year and a half now. Don't post very often at all hahaha
I hate new people and young people.

Us old farts have a way of dealing with that. I have had many a young clerk talking or playing with there phone when I come to the register.
I just wait. They ring it up and put out their hand all the while talking on there phone. I had one once stop talking long enough to go "WHAT?" I replied that I was taught not to talk when someone was talking and I am just waiting for you to finish your call. Was he ever pissed off. Now if I come into the store that clerk always puts down the phone before I get to the counter.

I've never had a clerk be on the phone while I was a customer. That is unreal!
