PMC 5.56 NATO 62gr, Green tip-LAP
PMC X-TAC. So I picked up 1k of this stuff today, I wanted some cheaper stuff but sportsmans was out of everything but the ridiculous priced remington (it is never sold out). I went out and shot 40rds and it was great. I didnt shoot long range just close stuff but no problems. I cant find it on their web site though? Anyone have info on velocity etc?
This target looks a little different then the one I shot saturdayThis one doesnt have key holes in it! My BCG also locks to the rear on an empty mag with this ammo.
If I remember right the Velocity for this civilian round is about 3,200 fps. The LC ammo is a little hotter. But it is still armor piercing ammo!! You can check it with a magnet and it should stick to the bullet. Fun to play with at safe distances with steel targets. Not recommended to shoot at steel less than 200 yards!! Have fun and be safe!!
Which Sportsmans did you find the X-Tac at? I have been meaning to try some out, and found it online awhile back, but procrastinated too long and they sold out of it.
I'm pretty sure he got the x-tac from Jensens(the only place i have seen it around here). They have had it for the last month and a half. All my weapons shot the x tac very good. My slr-106 loves the stuff and it is super acurate out of it.

It was $317 plus tax. More then I wanted to spend but pretty cheap per thousand compared to most of the local stuff. I wanted more of that $4.99/20 62gr soft point metal case stuff. But this will be fun.
Thats not too bad, if I remember right, it wasn't much less online, then figure in shipping.
