In general I dislike stickers of any kind on my cars, but it does kinda bug me that conservatives and gun owners have to worry about putting stickers on their cars, yet mouthy liberals plaster theirs with political stickers (some of which are downright rude) and yet don't worry about THEIR cars being damaged.

I guess this speaks to the character of both liberals and conservatives then.
Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

"Everything the State says is a lie, and everything it has it has stolen.
    -Friedrich Nietzsche

"Every time something really bad happens, people cry out for safety, and the government answers by taking rights away from good people."
    -Penn Jillette

Having "Obama is my Momma" on your bumper doesn't really call out the possibility of their welfare check being in the glove box so much as having an NRA sticker says you might have a gun in the car.

i do have stickers on my car only three though the NRA stick is inside and with tented windows you cant really see it that easy unless your looking for it. i have a Blackhawk sticker on the bumper covering up some other sticker my mother had on the car when she used it and my club sticker i don't store things in my car for long periods of time and when there is something in there i usually keep it in sight.

i did it when i was younger not thinking!

i would agree it draws unnecessary attention to your car. most likely soon i will take them off if and when i get a new car i plan to leave it with no stickers besides maybe american flag or state flag! and so forth!

Negative. I don't advertise. For the gun reason, political reasons, etc. I don't want any casual observer to know what I'm about. I don't want attention and if I ever end up in s**t and have to present a firearm, I want it to be a big surprise.

I have bunches of firearms/conservative stickers, but at best I'd only stick them on gun cases and things like that. I do wear gun-manufacturer t-shirts and caps, but to the uninitiated they'd likely have no clue what they are about as they either don't have a gun on them or If they do, I cover that up.

Here's an anecdote that reinforces my position:
I have a friend that was driving back to work one day with an anti-obama sticker on his car. Some wanna-be militant liberal douchebag followed him back, pull up next to him and in the midst of ranting at him threatened to kill my friend. My friend is an Ex-Marine and was carrying at the time. None the less, he was in fear for his life as he wasn't sure whether the douchebag was armed. In the midst of this, he called 911, so he would have his ass covered if things escalated. He talked the guy into letting him park his vehicle, before they continued their conversation. The douchebag complied and pulled into a parking space.

My friend's friend (also a gun guy) was parked waiting for him to get back to work. While I'm not clear on what transpired at this point (it was nothing major), the liberal douchebag after sitting there for a few minutes, drove off.

My friend gave some thought the encounter and realized if he had had his kids in the car how much risk that would have exposed them to. He took the sticker off his car before going home that night.

So having my NRA sticker behind the drivers side and the Gadsden Flag behind the passenger side is a bad idea??? Heck all I'm missing is one that says "I'm straight, Catholic and Conservative, what else can I do today to piss you off"!!!

All i show on mine is a Colorado BFL sticker, a magpul sticker and a little free advertising for High country perf 4x4. I would venture to say the average idiot / criminal has no idea about the first two I mentioned.

I'm going to post my chagrin here that the Gadsden has become synonymous with "right wing gun nutjob".

The only sticker on the War Wagon is one that says, "RAY WELLS BLOWS". (Locals around hear understand what that means.)

Beyond that, no advertising, no political statements, no nothing.

I thought I noticed a large decrease in the number of OBAMA stickers after that Cash-For-Clunkers took a lot of beaters off the streets.
